HOW DO I MAKE A SUBMISSION FOR THE BLOG?
Go to the Homepage. Scroll down to the Let us hear from you section. Type in what you want your submission to be on and click send! We will get back to you.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WEEKLY CHALLENGE AND A SUBMISSION?
A weekly challenge has a specific prompt set for every week. Any submissions made in the forum for those weekly challenges must answer the prompt. Normal submissions can be about anything but there should be a submission request to our team. After it has been reviewed, you will be notified by a member in our team on whether it has been selected. For both weekly challenged and normal submissions, please be subscribed so we can easily contact you.

WHERE DO I FIND NEW THINGS TO READ THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE WRITING CHALLENGE?
On the blog! We have different tags where we showcase different topics. We also have different categories. Browse and pick which one you want. You can find the blog on the top right side of the homepage
HOW IS MY POEM/SHORT STORY SELECTED?
Once you make a submission request, we will ask you to send in your poem for review through the forum or email. The forum will be open for submissions all the time. Our team will review it and we will pick the best out of the submissions and future them on our Blog. If your poem/short story is not selected, it will still be available for everyone to read in the forum. Do not forget to be subscribed first!
HOW MANY TAGS CAN I ADD ON A POEM?
The Writing Fountain team will add tags for you (maximum of 10). You just need to let us know what tags you want and they will be added if your poem is selected.
CAN MY POEM/SHORT STORY CONTAIN EXPLICIT CONTENT?
Haha yes! As long as you give us a heads up. We will add the appropriate tags to it.
WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF MY POEM/SHORT STORY HAS BEEN SELECTED?
Yes you will. Just make sure you have subscribed with your email address and name and you will be notified by our team
HOW LONG WILL THE SELECTED POEMS/SHORT STORIES SUBMITTED FOR THE STORIES BE UP ON THE BLOG?
They will be featured for a week. After that, the spotlight will be on the next weekly challenge ; )
WILL THERE BE REWARDS OR PRIZES FOR THOSE THAT HAD THEIR POEMS/SHORT STORIES SELECTED IN THE CHALLENGES?
We will be running a post of the month. The selected poem/short story will be a featured piece on this website (For the whole month and not just for the duration of the challenge)
WILL THE WEEKLY CHALLENGES BE FOR ONLY POEMS?
No. We want to be as open as possible. Write whatever you want. As long as you are answering the prompt it will be fine.
WHEN CAN I MAKE SUBMISSION REQUESTS?
Any day. Anytime. Anywhere.
HOW DO YOU PROTECT THE IDENTITY OF YOUR MEMBERS?
We respect any desire expressed to remain anonymous. If you have a particular pronoun you would want people to use when addressing you or your work please state it when making a submission.
ARE THE OPINIONS SHARED HERE REFLECTIVE OF THE TEAM'SÂ VALUES AND BELIEFS?
No. The Writing Fountain team is very neutral and welcomes every positive opinion, idea, belief and value. We do not condone negative beliefs and attitudes. These things will not be tolerated. Kindly refer to our Code of Conduct for more details.
